Andrew and I first met through my college roommate. He came over one night to help us decorate our house for Christmas, and I definitely thought he was really cute and very funny. A few nights later he sent me a message asking if I was going to come watch the meteor shower with everyone. There was a group going out to a secluded field to watch it, and my roommate and Andrew were both going. My roommate and I got to Andrew’s house so we could all drive together, when my roommate decided she was too tired to go, and left me there alone with Andrew. What could have been an awkward situation turned into of the best nights of my life! We went to the field where everyone had met up, and Andrew and I laid under the stars in a friend’s truck bed (of which the truck was named “The Killdozer”), and talked until 4 in the morning. He was so sweet and easy to talk to, and had me laughing the whole night. I hardly remember talking to anyone else that night, we were in our own little world. After hanging out a few more times, Andrew told me he really liked me but wanted to take things slow…and then he asked me out three days later on a ferris wheel.Two years later, he we are, planning our wedding! We are both beyond excited to get married next summer!! Nothing could be better than spending the rest of my life with my very best friend, and love of my life.

How to Vote:

• Vistit Ivan Apfel Photography’s Facebook page by clicking button on the left or Clicking Here
• If you are not already a fan you must “Like” the page (if you unlike the page after voting the vote will be removed as well…Facebook rules, not mine)
• Go to the Contest Gallery or Click Here.
• Vote for the couple of your choice by clicking “Like” on their picture.
• NOTE – If you click like on the Contest Gallery there is no way for me to know who you are voting for.  Please Like their photograph.  Thanks.  And feel free to leave comments of encouragement for your favorite couples.

General Rules:

• You cannot employ voting programs or FB “Like” groups to increase your vote count.
• Prizes have no redeemable value
• Prizes cannot be given to someone else as a gift.
• Admission or Travel fees will be the recipient’s responsibility.
• If travel is involved, 40% of travel fee is due within 7 days of winner announcement or prize will be awarded to the second place winner
• No bashing other Contestants.  This goes for your friends and family as well.  If it is seen, that persons vote will be deducted and they will be banned.  This happened last year and will not be tolerated.  Fair Play is the Only Way. 
• Wedding must be taking place between January 2012 and December 31st, 2012

• Contracted and Retained 2012 Ivan Apfel Photography clients are not eligible.
